Bronchitis
SYMPTOMS of the Acute form include sore throat, fever, chills, muscle pain,
back pain, runny nose and a dry cough changing to produce more sputum. The
Chronic form may include a slight cough that may be present for years and
gets more intense with colds, difficulty in breathing, bluish color, other
respirator infections and wheezing.
CAUSES for Acute are an inflammation of the airways that may follow a cold
or other upper respiratory infection. Causes for Chronic form may include
chronic inflammation of the airways from air pollution or cigarette smoking.
TREATMENT. For Acute, Antibiotics, fluids, steam inhalants, rest.
.For Chronic, stop smoking, steam inhalants, avoid irritants, regular
exercise, antibiotics, postural drainage and other medication.
